Hades ff141/2/2024 ![]() Hangover damage from Dionysus, for instance, or stacks of freeze from Demeter. What's more, plenty of bonuses, whether from boons or Daedalus Hammers, apply per arrow. Two of them will be available right away, though they'll cost more Titan's Blood than the Aspect of Zagreus upgrades.Īspect of Chiron for the bow is notable, as it makes the Volley Fire automatically seek out whoever you last hit with a normal attack, and each upgrade increases the amount of arrows in the volley. Where it's really at is the subsequent aspects: Each of which unlocks a new look and either different upgrades, or a complete transformation of how the weapon works. The first is the Aspect of Zagreus, the vanilla version you've been using already, which can be upgraded five times for one Titan Blood each time. What you spend Titan Blood on is permanent improvements to Infernal Arms. If you're playing in Hell mode you'll have access to the Pact of Punishment right away, otherwise you'll need to clear the game once to get it. Charon saves his best stock for the end.įinally, you can get more Titan Blood by using the Pact of Punishment to increase your Heat level-defeating the furies and the final boss on higher and higher difficulties. If you've got to the point where you're regularly making it to the final shop in your runs, it's worth saving all your money just in case. You get more by defeating the furies with different weapons, doing the same with the final boss, completing certain tasks from the Fated List of Minor Prophecies, or buying it from either the Wretched Broker or Charon's final shop. You'll get your first Titan Blood in Hades for defeating Megaera and escaping Tartarus. (Image credit: Supergiant Games) Hades Titan Blood: How to get it That's when you need to start worrying about weapon aspects, and for that you'll want Titan Blood. However, once you've unlocked all of the Infernal Arms, you're not done. That's all you'll need to know when you start playing Hades. It's never a bad idea to take an upgrade that just improves damage with whichever of a weapon's abilities you favor, as you'll need those big damage numbers in later acts-and Daedalus Hammer upgrades stack. No matter where they spawn, you usually won't be able to acquire more than two per run, so choose carefully. One might be in the very first room, taking the place of a god's boon, or appear as a reward for clearing a room, or be available for purchase in Charon's shop. Weapons can be upgraded for the duration of a run with Daedalus Hammers, which appear randomly. ![]() It's worth hopping between them just for that reason, and you'll be glad of the practice later on. And a random one of them, which will glow purple in the arsenal room, gives a bonus 20 percent to Darkness earned in each run. I also elected to have Ranged favor southern knockbacks while Melee favor northern knockbacks for perfect uptime.Every new weapon is a completely different playstyle, essentially a whole new class. Phase 3 (Again the Martyr): You can actually pair Healers with anyone you want as long as both players are sufficiently shielded beforehand, but the Healers/Tanks go East/West strat seems to be very common now, so that's what I went with. While other options might give marginal bonus uptime, this one is pretty foolproof, and it's not like the DPS check for Ascian Prime is very hard as long as people stay alive. Phase 2 (Universal Manipulation): The infamous 09S or "Rose" strategy. ![]() Ranged and Healers are fine too, but tanks take less damage, and moving the boss a few feet up to intercept the tether directly north of their boss requires very little work. Phase 2 (Lahabrea + Igeyorhm): Tanks and Healers take tethers. However, I consider these setups in the guide to be the most "pug-friendly" because they require very little memorization of position swapping, you group with the same people all the time, and it favors uptime in most cases. I am aware that there are numerous ways to do most mechanics by now, some of which are terrible, and some of which are hilarious by how bad you can break the mechanics.
